Future of R3 Workflow Engine

Hi Thuan,
All rumours should be treated with extreme scepticism.
 
CRM has not rewritten the workflow engine!
 
CRM has done some work in the workflow modelling/graphical editor area to suit specific needs - so has MDM - so has XI/ccBPM - and yes there is some significant work going on in these areas for all SAP systems.
 
If you keep an eye on the service.sap.com site in the Netweaver bpms and workflow areas you will see
some info starting to come through on this topic e.g. in the "Roadmap" section.

I've been hearing that the R3 Workflow Engine will be replaced by a
re-written workflow engine similar to what is used in mySAP CRM.  Can
someone confirm if this is true?
