Changing priority of workitem dynamicaly

Hi,
 
I want to change the priority of a workitem base on a container value. How
can I do it ?
 
The scenario is that we determine the priority we want base on some values
in the container and we want to change the priority of the next step with a
method using the FM SAP_WAPI_CHANGE_WORKITEM_PRIO.
 
I thought about using a fork or through a binding of some sort on the step ?
