Error handling in the background task

[Getliffe, Daniel]

Test the method independently in SWO1 and ensure that it returns the exception if no superior can be found.  Have you got the exception set as an application error?

Thanks Mike. That's exactly what I did. I have exit_return statement built
into the method.
But during exceptions, the wflow log indicates that the workitem is in
process but in fact it hangs.The status of wf shows that it is 'In
process'.
 
Any idea ?
