Hello Nina,

If you disable the "Advance with dialog" option in the basic data at the =
workflow level, the activities which are the first steps in the fork =
(and all other steps in the workflow) will not open immediately.

If the "Advance with dialog" option in the basic data at the workflow =
level is enabled, and the option at the activity steps is disabled, the =
activity steps should NOT open immediately.

After changing the options in the workflow, be sure that you generate =
and activate the runtime version, refresh the runtime buffers with =
SWU_OBUF, and test with a restarted fresh instance of the workflow.

Subject: Is it possible not to open the first steps in fork after User
Decision

Hi Workflowers!

I've got a problem.

After User Decision1 there is a fork with 3 branches, the first steps at
2 of them are Activities and at the third branch it is User Decision2.
The Agents of these 2 Activities and User Decision2 are the same.

When the Workflow comes to this fork, it opens the Set Status screen for
2 Activities and if a user does not perform Set Status action, the
activity remains "Reserved" in the Inbox. At User Decision2 the "Advance
with dialog" option is enabled and I unchecked it, so this step does not
open. At Activity step this option is disabled, the only posibility to
change this option is at workflow level.

Check/uncheck of the "Advance with dialog" option at User Decision1 does
not influence the process.

Is there any way not to open the activities which are the first steps in
the fork?

Thanks,
Nina Korotayev
