How to create Status Management event

Hi Pradeep,

The first part of your question is a little broad. What object are you
talking about - PM orders, Networks, WBS etc? Status are configured via the
IMG (transaction SPRO) I believe.

Once you have the status configured, you add an event for it to your
business object type via SWO1 - this is uncomplicated because all you have
to do is give it a name and description. Then run transaction BSVW to set
up the event linkage. Transaction BSVW is fairly intuitive after the first
popup. When you are prompted to choose between system settings and customer
settings, system is for system status and customer is for user status.

Hope this helps.

Peter.
