As you probably are aware the actual 'sending' of an Email is governed by
BASIS config, with
4.6, this is SAPCONNECT.
 
I believe the best you can do from an automatic process point of view is to
capture the previous user's details from the workflow container and plug
them into the Subject line of the email that
gets sent to the new recipient.

We are on 4.6C version of SAP.
 
Is there anyway to pass who a notification is from when the email is sent to
Outlook in workflow.  All of our emails that are sent via workflow show that
wf-batch sent the email.  One of my customers would like to see the email
coming
from a user who processed a previous dialog workitem before the email is
sent.
 
Has anyone successfully done something like this??
