Universal worklist question

Kris,
The UWL itself is all java based - it doesn't use the ITS.
How you execute work items is controlled by settings in the portal admin and
(thanks for the reminder Cristian) can also be overridden in the UWL config.
But if you don't have an ITS at all you would be better off doing it at portal level.
Look at the options in the UWL administration iview, and also the SAPNetWeaver 04 doco
for more info on configuring the UWL.
Jocelyn

Jocelyn,

Our portal admin had the same doubt.
He is new to UWL. We tried both the settings we still had issues.
If I execute the same workitem from SWK1 in CRM system it works just fine.
I wanted to let you know that we have not installed ITS server. We have
installed only EP6.
Do we need to install ITS to execute workitems in UWL ?
Is there any workaround to setup UWL with out ITS? Since we had some server
constraints.

Thanks,
Kris.
