Dynamic columns

task in tcode SWL1.

Hi there,
 
I cannot get the dyamic columns in the inbox to work. I have defined for =
all users for the task in question some columns like customer number, =
name, etc., and I have also put them into the global display variant in =
the workplace. I see the columns, but they're always empty.. any idea?
