Universal worklist question

Kris,
No you don't - it is required for other base package features but not for the UWL itself.
However if you are on EP6 the knowledge management stuff is worth having.
There are some really nice features there - so have a look at what it offers before you
discount it.

Hello workflow gurus,
 
We are trying to install universal worklist iview on EP6.
For UWL configuration, SAP help is directing us to go to Knowledgemangement
basic configuration.
Do we really need to install Knowledge Management inorder to configure UWL ?
I appreciate any of your suggestions.
