Active Workflow Version is not running in Production...swu_obuf.....hasn't sync. the buffers--Help!!!!!!!

Hi Guys,
 
I m facing a peculiar problem ...i did some changes in a workflow template
say XX in devlopment and moved in Production.
 
I can see the latest version in production having my changes.....but at the
time Wf is triggered from application the runtime version without those
changes is triggered..............i tried to synchronize  the buffers using
SWU_OBUF but it seems it hasn't worked.
 
Can anybody tell me what to do when SWU_OBUF doesn't work out.....i mean
how to get the buffers in sync...
 
its really urgent....thnax in advance for ur help.
