Service Entry Sheets - Release

I have the task of workflowing Service Entry Sheets release, unlike PR =
and PO there is no config to link release codes to positions, how is =
this done?
 
Also, not workflow question but my service entry sheet doesn't pick up a =
release strategy, I have set up class and characteristics, release =
group, strategies and release codes but the SE does not pick it up.  =
Have checked the characteristic values and it should.  What have I =
missed?
