I saw the error as the result of:
*         program bug in AM workflow, this was solved with OSS note,=20
*         another program bug in org management module (during agent =
selection)
*         messed up workflow environment after client copy
*         Not-refreshed environment
=20
In first two cases the message was displayed only because it was the =
last message stored in buffer (SY-MSGNO, etc.)
=20
If Refresh Org Environment does not help, I would check integrity of the =
workflow environment/templates, and then debug the WF Manager to see =
what's the reason.

has anybody ever encountered the problem that you have a workitem in =
your=20
inbox but cannot reserve or execute this workitem as sap says it can not =
 
find an administrator for the task.

- the list of workitems without administrator on the system is empty
- I have maximum permissions (SAP_ALL + SAP_NEW)
- some users have the same problem, for some users the system acts=20
correctly and executes the workitems
- when I navigate to the agents of the task in the workflow log i am the =
 
only user in the agent list

i can not find out what is wrong.=20
