The following are all potentially involved:

Organisation Structure and Responsibilities
An administrator for the ALE and Workflow systems is required. These =
may be separate roles on the combined.
>From an ALE perspective the system administrator for ALE technical =
issues is defined in (WE46).=20
A job or position should be allocated if HR organisation structure is =
in use.=20
Other a user id can be allocated directly.
The technically responsible person is also defined in Partner Profile =
(WE20).

Note the ROLE 134 uses the above described config to route workitems to =
the right people in the case IDOC
technical errors.

First WE20 Partner Profile Post processing agent is checked. If no =
setting is found there,
the standard WE46 system would administrator setting is used.

No partner profile, or other technical Inbound IDOC errors.
See transaction WE40.
For example to start WF WS99999999

EDI1 1 WS999999999. Start Workflow for Technical errors.

Special note for Workflows or Tasks to be triggered by ALE inbound =
processing via WE40.
Workflows MUST contain an inbound parameter called IDOC_PACKET of type =
IDOC or IDOCAPPL. =20
Tasks must also have IDOC or IDOCAPPL as the object.

After this point the EVENTS IDOCAPPL.ERROROCCURRED or similar are =
trigger to allow
rounting of different WFs to Business users not Techies.

Good luck

Hi Ute,
WE20 - Partner profiles. You'll have to look under the appropriate =
partner, or
partner/message type combo.

Cheers
