What you say makes sense, but when you schedule it and the first time it =
runs it then sets the date and time, you don't specify a date and time, b=
ut as you say, it should only pick up workitems that are not completed (w=
hich of course makes perfect sense), so this answers my question. The QA =
system run confused me, as of course although it is a recent copy of PRD,=
=20the actions taken from then to now in the inbox, will not reflect the =
same, hence it triggered much more e-mails than it will in the PRD enviro=
nment.

Normally it is suppose to send e-mail only to work items that were create=
d after the specify date and time of the controlling table. It should als=
o only look at ready Work items not completed ones.

Please advise what happens the first time this job runs in a PRD environm=
ent (when it sets the date/time stamp) - does it only pick up all the wor=
kitems currently in the users SAP Business Workplace or does it send all =
workitems on the system out to the users (I am using the setting for send=
ing a notification per workitem - the client wants it this way..). The re=
ason why I am asking is because when I ran the job in test mode in the QA=
=20system for a certain period, it seemed to pick up old workitems (withi=
n the period I specified) already executed by the users and send an e-mai=
l notification on those as well.
