Object not beng populated at runtime

You could maybe be a bit more precise about what you mean by "object is not
populated"? Bonus points to you for specifying version :-)
I see you have received answers interpreting this as the object attributes
not being populated. I interpreted it as the object not being available at
all - i.e. not being passed on to the step or task in question, or even not
to the workflow container. If that is the case you should be able to find
the problem by using the workflow trace which is available in the Workflow
diagnostic tool (SWUD -> Test environment).

Sorry, SWU0 is the simulation tool. The Event creation tool is SWUE.
Both should help.

Switch on the event log (SWELS) and then trigger your event and you
should have an entry in the event log (SWEL).
This will show you if the event is being created correctly in the first
place.
With your bindings you will need to bind from _EVT_OBJECT into an import
container element defined as your super object type.
You can test if this is OK by using the event creation test tool SWU0
Hope this helps,
Mark

Hi Fellow workflowers,
I'm hoping someone will be able to shed light on this for me.....
I've got an object, which is a subtype and has been delegated, that is
not being populated when I run the workflow.
I've checked the bindings and all seems to be correct.
The workflow is getting triggered from a custom program using
'SWE_EVENT_CREATE'.
I'm on 4.5.
Any suggestions would be much appreciated.
Thanks
Angie
