Work item text for single step task

Serge,
Probably a timing issue - you are trying to use _WORKITEM which represents the work item while the system is still in the process of creating the workitem. Better to hold the creator in a container element and pass it in from the event container.

Re the CreatedByUser - strange - check out object type USR01DOHR - possibly this is getting substituted for USR01 or you have a delegation active on USR01?

Subject: Work item text for single step task

Hi All,

I have a Standard Task that is called by the creation of an event of an
object type. This is a single step task (TS) not being part of a WS. When I
try to add some parameters to my Work item text the event creation is going
in error. Even if I use &_WORKITEM.CREATEDBYUSER.NAME& it does not work. Is
what everybody is getting? Other than creating a WS that use that task
inside one of its step or Creating the work item directly; is there any work
around?

Another funny thing (I am in a 4.6C environment). When you look at the
CreatedByUser attribute through the <Insert variable> button, you see an
attribute called Employee. But if look at the object type of The
CreatedByUser attribute (USR01), the Employee attribute does not
exist?!?!?!?!?

Thanks.
