WF inbox issue with setting up a substitute via list box 4.6c

When attempting to setup substitutes I have notice some differences in some users. 
I have a few users that to the inbox, select maintain substitute, select first part of user id like SMITH*, 
and the list box of users displays. 
 
On mine, I see the Extended Obj Id like SMITHDX, SMITHDY, etc along with the name, etc.
On some users, they do not see the Extended Obj Id. ?
 
I can fix it by changing the WF settings, save, and then go back into maintain subs, 
and this field then shows. I have deleted my parameters WLC and thought they 
just did not have the WLC parms. But that does not seem to be the case.
 
I would like to have the users see the userID of the person they want to sub verses 
just a name. Lot of same first and last names, but if they have the userID they would 
know for sure who they are creating as a sub.
 
Anyone have this issue and know how to globally resolve this? 
 
I would also like to add an extra field to this table so the user could see the Personal Area or something 
but don't seem to see the table it is pulling up via F1. Easily Configurable or table change?
