RFC autorizathion for Universal Worklist in EP

Hi,

But the issue is that I have to specify authorization requirements quite
precisely (fuction groups, activities etc.) and probably the best way is
to give full RFC autorizathion and then do the trace and on the basis of
the results create profile.

Regards,

Marek

Marek,
As portal to R/3 communication is via RFC, RFC authoristaion is a given
for pretty much any portal functions. Regards,

Tomasz,

In my opinion authorization requirements fo UWL are more sophisticated
;-). I have a workflow user on our QAS system (WFSESH) and he has all
necessary, from workflow point of view, RFC authorization in R/3 but in
portal his UWL is empty and the following error message is displayed:
SAP_R3 User WFSESH has no RFC authorization for function group SYST.

Marek

Marek,

for some obscure reasons this is indeed needed in EP. I believe this is
just some "pass-through" to allow execution of work items -- but for
more precise reasons you'd have to check EP..

Best regards,
Tomasz

Betreff: RFC autorizathion for Universal Worklist in EP

Hi all,

I am currently working on Universal Worklist in EP 6.0 and I faced some
problems with RFC autorization. In documentation I found only one
sentence that it is necessary to give each user access to function group
SWK1 and transaction SWK1. I would be grateful for any help and more
detailed information.

Regards,

Marek
