Replacing the work items

[Chintamaneni,Rammohan,GLENDALE,BIS - SAP Workflow]

Mike,
Using this function module, we can only replace work item one by one. But I
am wondering is there any other function module which can replaces
automatically all the work items for a given user over certain period of
time. I already looked at the SAP_WAPI* FM's in our environment(SAP 4.0B).

Hi Ram,
A good place to start looking for function modules is listing SAP_WAPI* FM's
which form the 'official' API. The one you're after is:
SAP_WAPI_PUT_BACK_WORKITEM     Workflow Interfaces: Replace Work Item
