Generation of business object programs

Hello,
 
When I transport new or changed business objects the transport log indicates
that the related programs have been generated. Normally this also seems the
case :-)
 
- Generation of the transported programs
- Program ZUS2012 successfully generated
 
I had two occasions on which I had to manually generate the business objects
in the systems to which I transported the objects (and the generation was
successful). Is there a logical explanation for this and if yes, what can it
be?
