SAP GUI problem

I had the same problem.
 
It occurred following the application of one of the recent Windows update
patches.
 
OSS has a gui patch available to resolve the issue. Sorry  don't have the
number. Check OSS.

Hi Les.  I just posted this same problem, 4.6c system, gui 4.6d, but am no
longer able to display those same areas (which I believe are ActiveX based).
We had some VB apps installed on the SAP server and since then, same problem
as you.  Hopefully someone can help us out!  Let me know if you do end up
coming up with a solution, I will do the same...

I have had a strange occurrence recently on desktop (Win2K) and my laptop
(WinXP). Neither PC will display certain segments of the Business Workplace,
for example, the Preview Pane and the Work Item Complete confirmation. When
I log onto someone else's PC, there is no problem.
 
The most recent changes have been to add/run Ad-Aware and Spybot to check
and remove ads and spyware from the PCs, but I don't see how these could
effect the SAP GUI. What else is likely to have caused this condition? I am
accessing the 4.6C version with the 610 client on both PCs.
