Triggering event for a standard task

Hi Werner,=20
You don't have to use SWU_OBUF every time you test something. But its =
worth recognising that HR buffers by default are refreshed at midnight =
system time. Most of the time buffers shouldn't bother you at all. But =
if something is happening that seems strange particularly for work item =
not appearing in inbox or can't execute work items, its worthwhile =
trying SWU_OBUF to see if that is all it is. Or you can always test it =
the next day.=20
Regards,
Jocelyn Dart.=20

something!

Werner, this sounds like an SWU_OBUF issue (official name: "The =
Cinderella
Principle" :)

Thanks Sergey,

it's very funny!
A few minutes ago i tried SWU0, SWE5 and SWUE to check the event =
linkage!
Everything worked fine.

Then i started the event out of the transaction like i did it the days
before.
And now the standard task started! I don't know why but it works!

Kind Regards,
Werner.

Werner, try SWU0 to check if your tasks is correctly determined as one =
of
the
event receiver. You can then use SWE5 to check the linkage =
consistency..
Thanks,
Sergey

Thanks for the response Jocelyn.

I check that points again, but it doesn't work.
I tried one standard task from SAP. And this one was started.
So i compared the two tasks, but i didn't find any difference.
So i will report it to OSS.

Hi Werner,
Check you have not only defined the event as a triggering event for =
that
task using transaction PFTC but have also fixed up the event to task
binding. And of course you still need to activate the event linkage =
just as
you would for a workflow template.

Hi eyeryone,

i set up the delegation type ZDRAW (supertype DRAW).
I created an event "Released".
This event is automatically raised when someone changes the status of a
document into Released!
(I looked it up in transaction SWEC).

Now when i take a workflow template, fill in the triggering event
DRAW->Released and activate it,
the workflow starts correct.
But when i take a standard task and do the same like in the workflow
template, the task does not start and i as the workflow administrator =
get an
errot message: "Error with event receiver"

In the message:
.......
Event DRAW RELEASED for standard task TS90400024 not defined as a =
trigger
event
.......

Thanks in advance!

Regards,
Werner
