Advance with dialog option ?

Hello All,
 
I have a user decision (Approve or Reject) with agent assignment 'A'. When
the agent decides to approve, the subsequent task runs the BAPI_TRIP_APPROVE
in the background. Since this happens in the background the trip history
shows the approver as wf-batch instead of agent 'A'. Since I donot want the
agent to get the inbox item 2 times ( user decision task and the subsequent
task ) I would like if there is anything that can be done.
Will it be useful if I use 'Advance with dialog' option ?
