Sending a note to SAP User iD's

Swami,
There are 2 ways to accomplish this.
1. You could use the notification tab when adding your single-step task
to a workflow template. You could use the description portion to
reference any container elements as needed.
2. You could use the object method SELFITEM.SendTaskDescription.

Thanks Kjetil, I tried using so_object_send but with little success
since I
am getting an error
object_could_not_be_sent out of fmodule. I will try with
so_document_send...
