Character formatting in Work Item text

Check the sequence of conversions in sm30  V_SXCONV
Perhaps the scot settings result in conversions all the way to RAW
or TXT.
In this case then no formatting can be part of the result.
 
PDF or HTML can have the formatting.
As a last resort you try sending it as an attachment.

Hi,
 
I have created a workflow which sends email to MS Outlook instead of going
to SAP Inbox. My item texts (long text) include texts that are underlined or
bold-print. The problem is when the recipient opens his/her email in MS
Outlook, he/she doesn't see the characters underlined or in bold-print but
just in plain text. I have tried adjusting some parameters in transaction
"SCOT" like changing "Output formats for SAP Documents"  from "TXT" to PCL,
PDF. But still, I don't get the formatting that I needed.
