RSWUWFML vs. RSWUWFMLEC in CRM

Is there a particular reason we should use RSWUWFMLEC over RSWUWFML in =
CRM for email notifications?  I can see that we can send emails as HTML =
instead of plain text, but I'm not sure if that's an overwhelming =
advantage.  When I tried using RSWUWFML in 4.7 Enterprise, it included a =
link to the work item that didn't work, so I'm not sure if that's it, =
either.
 
In any case, advice would be greatly appreciated!  Thank you!
