Method BEFORE work item execution (Modal call) - v4.6

In 4.6C ,  you could try changing the setting in your personal worklfow
setting to : "Double-clicking on an object displays the object in same
window"    (This can also be set centrally for all users by an
administrator from SPRO) .

Hi WFers,
we recently upgraded from 4.0b to 4.6c. Following this upgrade, one of our
decision steps  "Before" modal call method (ATTENDANCE.DISPLAY) now
displays
in a separate window. Backing out of this display now brings you to the SAP
Easy Access menu rather than the workitem decision options. Prior to the
upgrade, the display was launched in the same window. I've confirmed that
"WI Display" function module is blank.
 
Ideas/comments would be much appreciated.
