Lynda,

Your QAS system is probably locked down (set to not modifiable). You
should activate your workflow in development and transport to QAS.

Have you checked the workflow log for any errors at the step that does
not send the work item? I've had a similar problem before where the
workflow would activate but would deactivate the linkage when executed
in a system outside of development. My actual problem was the business
object that I extended. The syntax check on the object was okay but did
not generate when transported and the transport log did not indicate
this. I went and generated it and everything was okay after that. I
ended up creating a program that generated all custom objects. I placed
the generate program within a transport with the key that specified to
execute the program immediately after the transport.

Hi,
I have an urgent issue which I hope you can help me with!

Error Message: A Workflow template has been set up 92000084 using

standard SAP Object BUS2012. This template is designed for Purchase

Order Approval. A Triggering event for this Workflow is standard SAP

event - ReleaseStepCreated. However, when this is inserted into the

template and the binding is confirmed as consistent - and the workflow

activated. I then go and create a PO which requires approval - the

event is created and confirmed as connected with the workflow task in

SWEL - however, the triggering event within the Workflow template

is de-activated by the system and it cannot send a work item to the

relevant Approver. Is this a defect within 4.5B?
A similar problem occurs in QAS - where when you go to activate the
triggering event
Error message WA 634 occurs with a link to go and maintain table using
transaction SWE2 - however, the business object is linked to the
relevant
template and activated.

Have you any advice on these issues?
Please call me on 0422474096 if you have any further queries on this

Thanks for your help
Lynda
