Reforwarding workitem

There is yet another way of forwarding a workitem in 4.6c.

1.Use SWI5 and display the workitem to be forwarded
2. Go to 'Technical workitem display'
(at this juncture 'forward' option under workitem is grayed out..)
3. Go to 'Edit' and select 'change'.
4. Back out from new screen..you will see 'Forward' option is available
for use.

I have been following this approach for a while. Works like a charm..

Good Luck

Thanks Kjetil. I just donot have any options so far. In the screen that
you
mentioned about Extras 'Execute for testing' is not even highlighted
since
the workitem type is 'Wait step'. In all other screen for the workitem i
donot have an option that you mentioned. I even tried all options with
SAP_ALL authorization but still I could not fetch the workitems in
somebody
else's inbox ( or reassigning ).
I really have to put up this with SAP i believe..
Thanks once again..
