Deleting Work Items

Hi Mark,
Do NOT use the deletion programs in a live system. They are
intended for use in development/test systems only. They delete
work items and workflows without checking for interrelationships
so you can end up with half a workflow or orphaned work items.
That doesn't matter in a development system where most of your
work items are throw away anywhere but its not acceptable in
a production environment.

Instead in a live environment set up archiving using transaction
SARA archive object WORKITEM.

Thanks Vinod,

That appears to have worked ! Would you recommend using this method in the
live system or is it better to run archiving ?

Thanks for your help.
