Does the Workflow Administrator have to be a possible agent to be able to
forward the work item?

Thanks Sergey. During the change mode I donot have any option than just
'Exit' in the workitem menu. Anyway, thanks for your help.

One last thing you might try, Swami. Like you, when I go into the change
mode there are only the 'Complete Manually, Replace Manually, Delete
Deadline and Change Container buttons. But when I arrow back, magic
happens and I have a Forward icon.

Swami,

when you are in change mode - just click 'Save' and the workitem will be
reassigned to you. You can forward it then.

Thanks John. When I go into the change mode I have only 'Complete
Manually'
button. Also all options are greyed out like 'Forwarding'
or anything. I am not sure if this is authorization issue.
Meanwhile I am just waiting for the user who received the witem to return
back from vacation (!!!)..

Swami,

When you are in SWI1, double-click on the work item.
   Go to "Edit" "Change".
   Press the "Replace Manually' button.
   Green Arrow back.
You should be able to forward after that.

Please let me know if you still are having any trouble with this.

Good Luck,
   John

Hello Sergey,
Thanks for the quick reply. When the workitem is forwarded I believe it
goes
into 'Reserved' status already.
When I look at the workflow log in SWI1 it still has the 'Ready' status.
But
the option 'Forward' is not avaialble. Do you
think that is authorization issue ?

Hi Swami,

If the workitem was not started yet you can forward it to another user
from SWI1
(open the workitem and click F5, menu path Workitem->Forward). If the
forward
option is not available, then the workitem was probably reserved by the
current
agent, so you'll need to replace it (put back to READY status) before it
can be
forwarded...i assume you have adequate authorization..

Serge

Subject: Reforwarding workItem

Hello All,

Can the forwarded workitem be reforwarded again as part of wflow admin job
?. My user has forwarded a work item to another user (who does not have
authorization to execute witem) who is on vacation at the moment. As a
workflow admin can I reassign this workitem back to the original user?.
How
do I do that ? or is there any other option?

Thanks
