HI Swami,

use asynchronous task with terminating event (entrysheet is approved) to keep
the workitem in the agent's inbox until the event is triggered.

Regards,
Serge

Subject: Custom workflow development

Hello All,

I am doing a complete custom workflow which seems to be working fine. This
is for release approval
of entry sheet. But when the user just browses the entry sheet and come out
of it without
approving or rejecting it, I get an error message and the workitem just
disappears from the users
inbox but goes into error status. How do I handle this in workflow when the
user does not take any
action ? I tried to incorporate this by adding a new branch but a new
workitem gets created.
I donot want this to happen.
My understanding with the SAP standard workflows is that when the user
double clicks the workitem it
goes into 'Started' status. When the user just clicks the 'Back' arrow
button without taking any
action it goes into 'Ready' ( or 'Started' ? ) status again.

Thanks

Swami
