Event log problems ... ahem...

How should I put it ....  There is a possibility to specify restrictions on
the event trace. In our system someone had done that, in the production
system which had been copied to our two QA systems (production line and
version development line). To move some of the blame over on SAP there is
absolutely no indication in SWELS that there are restrictions in effect,
and SAP remembers these even if you turn the event trace off and then on
again. Bummer!
 
Luckily I decided to test another system just as I was thinking about
creating an OSS-message about it.
