communicating between R/3 & CRM for workflow

Hi Abby,
There are two ways to do this.
You can raise an event via an RFC call, or you can use
the XML step.
 
If the two servers are SAP web servers, 610 for CRM
and 620 for R/3, then I would use the XML method.
You can still do this if R/3 is a 4.6 box, but you
will need an ITS, and possibly SAP at webstudio.
