Sending external email to org. unit

Hello fellow workflowers,
 
In case of deadline overdue, I want to send an email to the current user and
another org. unit.
 
The email to the user can be done. I have a method which gets the
emailadress of the user and put it in an attribute / container element.
But now this situation: What if the user is an org. unit (like 'Sales'?)
This unit consists of several users and thus not 1 but several email
adresses.
 
Is it possible to send an email to a unit (like in Outlook a group with
several memebers) in the way WF_TASK.ALLAGENTSOFTASKGETANDDISPATCH works?
