you need to make sure that the exception is really raised (i.e. that the
processing branch with EXIT_RETURN YOUR_EXCEPTION_NUMBER ... ... ... ... is
really followed). My first feeling would be that processing simply continue=
s
in another branch. That's a pretty common programming error.

I have an exception for PR Blocked, it is set up as a temporary error,
however even though the method contains the exception my workflow still
continues.
 
I think I am missing something, I have checked my containers and bindings
all seem fine.  How do I handle the exception error and get the workflow to
retry the workitem.
