Betreff: Attachment of documents in workflow

Hello Friends,

I am working on a workflow project where i have a need to attach =
documents
like invoice copies in the workflow. I know that SAP workflow gives an
option
where you can create attachements and link the invoice to the workitem =
but
i
would like to know if any one of you have tried to attach a document in =
the
transaction which triggers the workflow.

e.g in the vendor master data workflow that i am working on needs a =
invoice
to
be attached to the request while triggering the workflow and then this
invoice
image is sent along with the workitem to the approval. Today requester =
can
do
this in 2 step process i.e trigger the workflow and create a workitem. =
Then
this
workitem will remain in the requester's inbox from where he can attach =
the
invoice.

This is a 2 step process while i want to achive this task of triggering =
the
worklfow and attaching the invoice in 1 single step.

Here is the screen shot from where you can create attachement to =
workitem

When you click on button

(Embedded image moved to file: pic05436.pcx)On pressing the import =
button
you
can attach the external documents.

I would appreciate if you can let me know the functions behind the
attachements
which we can do them in one single step.

Thanks,
Ashish.
