Outbox workitems

We have turned on the SAP standard transport workflow for our SAP =
support team to use.  We are starting to notice a large number of =
workitems in the transport administrators outbox.  We have workflow also =
running for personal expenses, but have not noticed the same workitems =
in the users outboxes pertaining to personal expenses.  How can we clean =
up these outbox items?  Is there a way we can shut this feature of the =
transport workflow off?
