Workflow for PR release

Want to include the vendor number and name in my workflow.  I have add a new
attribute Vendor Name and a new Key field vendor number.  When I test my
workflow everything is great.  When I let the event trigger my workflow the
vendor number is not picked up.  Have check bindings, all fine as I am
binding the whole object type in.  can any one point me in the right
direction, is there something I've forgotten to do??  I have tried active
runtime and refresh runtime buffer.
