John,

We created our own custom method, which opens up a custom approval =
screen. The screen was designed to show as many details as it could, =
with separate tabs to see receipts, mileage and cost assignments. Also, =
we generate the expense statement with another custom method, calling =
the bapi "Bapi_trip_get_form" and include it in the body text of the =
initial email that is sent to the approver. Armed with all that info, =
the approvers seem to be able to approve the expenses without a problem. =
 Does that help?

Marty

I think we have spoken previously re ESS, could you tell me how you =
managed
with the lack of SAPGUI dialog methods in the travel expense workflow, =
ie
how did the approver see the claimants detail expenses, is there a =
method
that I can use on which a workflow task can be based that will take the
approver to the claimants details?

Tommy, we had that happen to us in workplace where we run personal =
expenses
and workflow. It may not be the answer you're looking for but, our fix =
was
to get our internet department take away the browser navigational =
control
from the users browser when they chose the link to open up workplace. I
don't pretend to know how they did it, just that it seems to work, the =
only
way the users can navigate in workplace now is by using the standard =
abap
functionality built into the screens.

Subject: Work item lock by web user in WS20000081 Leave Request

Hi all,

We use the web based Leave request workflow WS20000081 for creating and
approval of leave requests.
When an employee have created a leave request and then when the manager =
is
approving it an error occur:
If the manager don't want to approve until later and try to exit the =
screen
by pusching the "End Execution"-button or the "Back "-button in MS =
Explorer
the work item is locked by this user and can only be unlocked by using
transaction SM12 in R/3.
The error message the manager gets when trying to execute this workitem =
is:
Work item currently locked by user 'ZEOIMG1' (ZEOIMG1)
The same error occurs in simular situation for the cancel Leave Request
workflow WS01000109.
The problim still exist if the user log off.
Any suggestions?

Best regards
