Message - Inherited elements may not be deleted

That would be it! You marked it as "Import", which puts it in both the
internal and external views of the workflow container. In 4.6C you have
to delete those elements from the external view of the workflow container via
PFTC. From 6.10 I think you can delete those from the workflow builder.

Calling transaction /nSWDD (WorkFlow Builder) ver 4.6c.

I created the container below from the WorkFlow Container by right
clicking the "Double-click to create"
Name: is zFoo
ABAP Dictionary ref type: is Q0008-BETRG
Attribute: Import
I then save it.

When I right click on the container and select "Delete"
I then get the message:
"Inherited elements may not be deleted" of Message no. OL 646

I can not delete from SWDD. I can delete from PFTC_CHG.
I would think that if I created a container element in SWDD I should be
able to delete it from same.
Thoughts?

Rick,
Please remember that there are a number of different containers and
when
you are asking questions it helps to be a little more specific...

However I guess from the message that you are talking about the
WORKFLOW container
as opposed to the task, event, rule, or method container?

In which case the message simply means that the container element was
created
using transaction PFTC "Container" button instead of within the
workflow builder,
so you have to delete it in the same place.
