EBP Approval workflow - Requisitioner accepts changes

Hi,
We are currently investigating the possibility of removing the dialog step
(TS10008061) in the
EBP approval workflow entitled "Ask requester to accept the changes".

In place of this dialog step we would perform the necessary logic in
background (effectively replicating the requisitioner
performing a "save" without any changes) and then transferring the cart to
our Core R/3 system.

Unfortunately it doesn't seem to be a straight forward change as this
dialog step runs some of the change shopping
cart functionality which we would need to replicate.

If anyone can give some pros/cons on doing this or maybe evaluated this and
can give some feedback it would be greatly appreciated.
