Deadline monitoring

Hi Abby,
 
I was told by a developer that the minimum time should not be less than 5 minutes due to system constraints.  I tend to recommend as large an interval as the business folks are to accept.  (This will help to lighten the load on the system.)

It's not set for five minutes, but 3 - I've checked each different place
where deadline monitoring is utilized.  And sometimes, it takes longer than
five minutes....

Hi all -
 
I'm running several workflows that utilize deadline monitoring, and I'm
noticing that it is taking longer than it is supposed to for it to work -
for example, in the all the deadlines for testing are set 3 minutes apart,
but it routinely takes 5 minutes or so for it to work.  One the second
deadline monitor (there are two within one workflow) that I'm using - the
deadline doesn't hit at ALL.
 
Does anyone have any idea why this could be happening?  Any thoughts would
be appreciated.
