Select agent of next task - need to refresh to get work item in inbox

Hi Tom,
I don't think this is a refresh org environment problem - sounds more
like a timing issue.  When they select the person to do the next step
are they selecting themselves? In which case make sure the advance
with dialog flags are turned on and you don't have any background steps
in between.
 
If they are selecting someone else, perhaps it's just the
way they are testing it - make sure the recipient is not sitting in their inbox
but just call up the inbox after he/she has been sent the item.
 
If neither of those apply suggest you report it in to OSS - it may be a problem
with the inbox list selection for your release/patch level.

Hi.
 
We have a problem with work items not appearing in a users inbox until
refresh is performed even though no changes to the org.units have been
performed.
The wizard for selecting agent of next step has been used in 4.6c to select
the person to perform the next step in a workflow. The possible users to
select from are set up in an organization unit. After a user has been
selected, the next work item does not appear in the inbox. If a refresh of
org.env is performed by the user, the work items appear, but the users are
not happy with this need to refresh. The automatic refresh every night is
running.
 
Has anybody else experienced similar problems with this
"ALLAGENTSOFTASKGETANDDISPATCH"?
