Problems running IAC through a webform shell for a task.

Am trying to create some custom workflow for appraisals (since the delivered
appraisals screens/logic/workflow templates aren't appropriate)

Have set up a Web Transaction for a task to edit the appraisal which has
been generated.
This is calling a method (EDIT) of a custom object (which is a subobject of
the appraisal object BUS7026)
This is running a function module (ZWEB_EVALUATION_SHOW which is a
customisation of WEB_EVALUATION_SHOW, which has a web screen)

The binding between the various objects/roles/tasks look ok, and when the
workflow is triggered it all goes fine, and when you go into the BWSP via
ESS you can then exectue the task to bring up the web transaction via the
Webform "shell"

The problem is, it is doing something a bit strange, and have put some
'popup_to_inform's in the code to try and determine the problem but none of
them are appearing.
It seems to go into the screen and out again without doing any of the PBO or
PAI logic.

If I run the method independently of the BWSP it seems to work okay.

any ideas?

Roger.
