Yes, as long as you have an rfc connection set up between your systems =
in SM59 between the two systems you can use the destination parameter =
(using the receiving logical system) on any BAPI. You do not have to use =
WF-XML at all for simple situations.

We have two SAP servers one is the so-called "normal" and the second =
is a
SAP HR server, in the same local area.
Till now our system is not opened to the Web, so the webflow solution is
excluded in the near future .
Both SAP servers are NT based and the SAP version are 40b and 4.6C.
Is it possible to call a remote subflow from the normal SAP server?
I.e. the (RFC/RPC) subflow call is realized on the "normal" SAP server =
and the subflow itself is running on the HR SAP server.
