Hi, Nat,
Also remember to change to your new workflow template in FI SPRO config,
refresh both workflow templates, & re-sync buffers. Anything else, just
let me know.

Hi, Nat,
If you want to trigger a workflow from FIPP when they click 'save as
complete' button, there are probably more ways, but here is one strategy:
1. copy WS10000051 to a custom workflow template
2. on your copy:
a. change the triggering event from FIPP created, to FIPP complete
b. inside workflow builder, change 'wait for event created' to 'wait for
event complete'
save, activate, refresh, test

This will create a workflow for every FIPP document 'saved as complete'.
If the approver rejects, the workflow goes to the inbox of the person who
originally 'parked' ('created') the FIPP parked document (the way it is set
up now).
This workflow initiator must then:
save the document as 'parked', then change the document to correct it, then
'save as complete'; this sends workflow to approver again.

This way, the first time the document is saved, it will not trigger a
workflow the first time it is 'parked', just the first time it is 'saved as
complete'.
Issue: once the approver rejects, when the WF initiator saves as parked,
then saves as complete, both of these events sends a workflow to the
approver.
So after rejection if you want only one workflow back to
approver only when saved as complete, this is an issue.
Thoughts how to suppress workflows in this scenario when
'parked'? (It seems like this config would, but it doesn't)

I hope this helps. If more information would be helpful, let me know.

Subject: Business Object FIPP

Hi All,

Problem we are faced with :

1. User created a parked document.
2. User changes a parked document, via transaction FBV2.
3. User does not save the document but does a "Document Check" and
"Document Complete" no new workflow starts but the document is updated with
the change.
4. When the users change document and saves it. The old workflow is
terminated and a new one starts where the user
has to perform a "Document Check and a "Document Complete".
5. On doing the "Document Check" and "Document Complete" a new release
strategy.

Does anyone knows how we can also start a new workflow if the user decides
to use option 3
.

There is an event in Business Object "FIPP" called "COMPLETION".
Is this event generated by performing a "Document Complete" within a
finance transaction?
