Hi Roberto,

SWEQADM allows you to set a common behaviour for all event linkages if the corresponding workflow reports an error (when started via event). Set this behaviour to something different than "deactivate linkage" and the events will be parked in the event queue whenever an error occurs. This error
behaviour does not depend on the activation of the queue itself.

The error behaviour can also be set for each event linkage separately using TA SWETYPV or SWE2.

Hop this helps.
kind regards,
Stefan

Subject: FW: Event queue, urgent!

Event queue, urgent!All,
I have a very urgent question! The situation is that we are going live with
a workflow very soon and the problem is that we don't know how to store the
events when the workflow turns off.

I have activated the event queue via SWEQADM (we are running IS-U 4.6.1)
with the result that events, that causes an error in the workflow after
triggering, can be send again (with SWID). In our development environment it
happened a few times that after an error the workflow was turned off
completely by the system. If this happens we need to store the events that
were send after turning down of the workflow otherwise we lose that data!!
Does anybody know how you can store events that were not able to reach the
event receiver (because this receiver is turned off) till the workflow is
turned on again?

I hope someone can help me out.

Kind regards,

Roberto Mast
