ESS via Portal - Events & Sessions not working like GUI

Dear friends
 
Built a simple notification workflow that starts of an
event BUS7019.CreatedWithValidity. Via the GUI this
works fine.
 
When adding 3 language skills via GUI, 3 events
register in the event log (SWEL).
 
When we do this via ESS, only one event registers and
the Session of the user remains locked. (Cant view
record in pa30 via GUI).
 
Any ideas?
