Method using container from wi preview in SBWP (Release 4.6C)

Hi all,
 
we have an object as an ad-hoc object at a workitem. And we want the default
methode of this object to compute some data from the workitem container
within the preview of SBWP.
Unfortunately we have no access to the container, i.e. the container doesn't
contain any data. We try to get the data via
 
SWC_GET_TABLE CONTAINER 'element_name' internal_table.
 
Isn't that the right way?
 
Thanks for any hint, it might be only a little mistake.
